Our Activities

1. Quenching the Thirst: The Clean Water Initiative In Alappuzha, safe drinking water is often a luxury. Groundwater contamination and salinity have created a severe public health crisis. Pamba stepped in to address this most basic human need.

Today, we operate 17 state-of-the-art Reverse Osmosis (RO) Plants strategically located across the district. These plants are more than just infrastructure; they are oases of health, providing thousands of families with daily access to purified drinking water. By securing clean water, we are actively reducing waterborne diseases and alleviating the daily burden on women who previously traveled far to fetch potable water.

2. Healing Hands: Medical Aid Healthcare is a right, not a privilege. Pamba provides crucial medical aid to those who cannot afford essential treatments. Whether it is supporting chronic illness management, emergency surgeries, or providing basic medicines, we ensure that financial constraints do not become a death sentence for the underprivileged.

3. Lighting the Future: Educational Support We believe education is the most powerful tool to break the cycle of poverty. Pamba invests in the future generation by providing educational support to bright students from low-income backgrounds. Through scholarships, supply donations, and mentorship, we ensure that talent is not lost to circumstance.

4. Final Dignity: Crematorium Services Our commitment to humanity extends to the very end of life’s journey. We recognize that the death of a loved one is an incredibly difficult time, compounded further by financial inability to perform last rites. Pamba operates a crematorium dedicated to assisting underprivileged families. We ensure that the departed receive a respectful, dignified farewell, easing the emotional and financial burden on their grieving relatives.

5. Promoting Health & Dignity: Our Sanitation Initiative Access to a clean, safe toilet is a fundamental human right, yet for countless underprivileged families, it remains an elusive dream. Lack of proper sanitation facilities leads to severe health risks, environmental pollution, and a profound loss of privacy and dignity, especially for women and girls. Pamba is committed to changing this reality. Through our Sanitation Initiative, we partner with communities to identify the most vulnerable households and construct hygienic, accessible toilets.

Here’s content tailored for a new project focused on building toilets for the tribal community in the Sabarimala area, including a call to donate:

Project: Sanitation for Sabarimala’s Tribal Communities

Restoring Dignity, Ensuring Health in Sacred Lands

The Sabarimala region, while revered for its spiritual significance, is also home to ancient tribal communities who often live in remote areas with extremely limited access to basic infrastructure. For these indigenous populations, the lack of proper sanitation facilities is a critical challenge. Open defecation remains a harsh reality, leading to severe health hazards, environmental degradation, and a profound loss of privacy and dignity, disproportionately affecting women and children.

Pamba is launching a dedicated initiative to address this urgent need. Our new project aims to construct clean, safe, and culturally appropriate toilet facilities for the tribal communities residing in the Sabarimala area. This isn’t just about building structures; it’s about:

  • Protecting Health: Drastically reducing the spread of waterborne diseases.
  • Enhancing Dignity: Providing private and secure spaces, especially for women and girls.
  • Preserving Environment: Safeguarding the natural beauty and ecological balance of this sacred region.
  • Empowering Communities: Working hand-in-hand with tribal leaders to ensure sustainable solutions that respect their traditions.

Your Support Can Build a Healthier Future.

This vital projects requires community support. Every toilet constructed is a step towards a healthier, more dignified life for a tribal family. Your generous donation will directly fund the materials, skilled labor, and community engagement necessary to bring these essential facilities to life.
